Last Year's EQUIP was a blessing. This one is sure to be the same. Once again we have three keynotes lined up and a focus on the book of Hosea. We live in a world that vies for our attention. Anything you want, anything you dream about, if you really desire it, it can be yours. From Facebook pages begging you to like them, to every electronic gizmo and gadget begging you to be theirs, our world is always attempting to give us what they think we need. God reminds us, through the prophet Hosea, that we are called to be His.
We are excited to introduce our Equip 2017 speakers!
Daniel grew up in a military home, moving about every 2-3 years. With this childhood experience he gained a love and appreciation for the Lord's church through his parents’ commitment and through the embrace of the church in each place they lived. He has a B.A. in Bible/Religion and Missions from Harding University and an M.Div from Harding School of Theology in Searcy, AR. He served as Assistant to the President at Harding University for six years and has spoken on the Harding University Lectureship. Daniel has been preaching for the Jenks Avenue Church of Christ in Panama City, FL since 2006. He and his wife Rachael have been married for 15 years and have three pretty cool children; Corban, Anna, and J.D.
Willie was born in Monroe, Louisiana in 1949. His childhood family moved to San Diego, California in 1959 where Willie graduated from Abraham Lincoln High school in 1968. Willie enrolled at the University of Oklahoma to play football & graduated in 1972 with a degree in Education. In 1971 Willie was a walk-on with the Baltimore Colts and made the team. He played for them for almost two years and was converted to Christ by Ron Fletcher in 1973. In 1974, Willie signed with the Los Angeles Rams, but his heart was more in the Lord's work. Willie and his wife Pam have four children Natalie, Janelle, Rachelle and James. Willie has worked in God's kingdom, serving him all over the world and in various lectureships and speaking engagements, as well as doing evangelism on the campus of OCUSA and Oklahoma University. Today, while also working with the Aubrey church of Christ, in Aubrey Texas, Willie continues to be a “man on a mission” – to seek out & save the lost is his heart’s burning desire.
